HP Installs 100th PageWide Advantage 2200 Installation

Marquis Book Printing Inc., a division of Lakeside Book Company, has installed an HP PageWide Advantage 2200 Press at its Montmagny, Quebec facility.

Completed in August 2026, the installation expands Marquis’s color inkjet production capabilities on coated and uncoated papers, enhances inkjet output quality, and adds inline coated book capabilities.

This installation marks the 100th installation of HP’s Advantage 2200 platform worldwide. 

The PageWide Advantage 2200 supports Marquis’s shift toward just-in-time production, particularly in Quebec, where average print runs are shorter. By printing the right quantity at the right time, Marquis can reduce product obsolescence and excess inventory while advancing its sustainability goals.

The press gives Marquis more capacity, while also expanding the range of work it can produce efficiently on a variety of coated and uncoated paper stock— including high-end four-color books, yearbooks, cover printing, and specialized educational publications.
